Auckland, City of Sails

The Skytower is framed by the Statendam’s flags as we arrived in the port early in the morning, and said a fond farewell to new friends and to our home on the high seas for the past 28 days. We went to the top of the Skytower later in the day – but decided not to do the bungy jump!
The Emperor Penguins were at Kelly Tarltons’ Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World – a neat experience we shared with many of Auckland’s parents and children as they enjoyed their Labor Day holiday weekend.
